WILD Offers ALA Conference Opportunity

Women in Lighting + Design’s new Spark Scholarship offers Student and Emerging Professional level members a chance to attend this year’s ALA Conference in Tucson.

Sponsored by the Women in Lighting + Design (WILD) association, the WILD Spark Scholarship is a new benefit for WILD members at the Student and Emerging Professional tier of membership. The scholarships will pay for interested members to attend one lighting event of their choice for free, including the annual American Lighting Association (ALA) Conference in Tucson. The awards are intended to further professional development and to promote the impact that the individuals have within the WILD community.

Through a blind review process, WILD members will be chosen by a liaison committee based on their applications and commitment to WILD’s mission for equity, dignity and autonomy for all members of the lighting industry.

Those members who are chosen for a WILD Spark Scholarship will receive a fully funded scholarship to a qualifying lighting conference/event or educational opportunity of their choosing.
