Visual Comfort Opens New Showrooms in Florida & Massachusetts
Visual Comfort & Co’s retail presence now spans more than 70 locations in the U.S., plus two in England and one in China.
Houston-based Visual Comfort & Co. has opened its seventh showroom in Florida. The recently opened Winter Park location joins Coral Gables, Jacksonville, Miami, Naples, Tampa and West Palm Beach in the Sunshine State.
The Winter Park showroom measures 3,800 square feet and features the company’s portfolio of designer lighting partnerships, including AERIN, Kate Spade New York, Kelly Wearstler, Suzanne Kasler, among others.
In addition to an immersive demonstration area showcasing “intentional lighting design,” the space also integrates motorized shades – including the company’s new custom Roman Shade program – to illustrate how smart shading and layered lighting work together to balance natural daylight and interior illumination.
“Winter Park has a vibrant design community with a deep appreciation for beautiful, thoughtfully designed homes,” said Gale Singer, founder of Visual Comfort & Co.’s direct division. “We’re excited to open a showroom where customers can experience our decorative and architectural lighting, controls, and shading solutions in one place.”
Also announced this month, Visual Comfort & Co. has opened a showroom in Newton, Massachusetts. The Newton showroom is the third in that state, joining the existing Boston and Burlington showrooms.
The Newton showroom is 4,000 square feet and features the aforementioned designer lighting partnerships, immersive demonstration and shading solutions area as the Winter Park location.
“The Greater Boston design community has a longstanding appreciation for craftsmanship, timeless design, and exceptional quality,” Singer noted. “Our new showroom makes it easy to experience the beauty and simplicity of integrated lighting and shading, with our lighting design experts helping bring each project from concept to completion.”

Two more lighting showrooms are slated to open their doors soon — one in Winnetka, Illinois and one on New York City’s Upper East Side.
Counting the two showrooms that have not yet opened as well as the company’s trade showrooms at the High Point, Dallas, and Las Vegas Markets (plus an outlet in Houston), Visual Comfort & Co. lists 75 locations on its website.
