Acquired in February by Hudson Valley Lighting Group, Schoolhouse Electric has relaunched with limited restocks of fan favorites.
Wappingers Fall, N.Y.-based Schoolhouse Electric has officially started its next chapter under Hudson Valley Lighting Group (HVLG). The relaunch of the beloved American design brand will offer a renewed focus on lighting, textiles, hardware, and home goods.
According to HVLG, the relaunch begins “a thoughtful evolution for the brand, one centered on preserving the qualities that have always made Schoolhouse distinct while creating a strong foundation for future growth under the HVLG umbrella.”
The relaunch officially began this weekend with limited restocks of fan favorites including, the Stillwater Floral Quilt, Edgecliff Pull, Ann Occasional Table, and more as we continue to replenish stock. In the months ahead, consumers can expect to see these continuous restocks of staple schoolhouse items with expansions into new products and lines still to come.
“What’s always made Schoolhouse special is its warm, approachable design perspective and commitment to products made to live with and last,” shared HVLG President, Malaina Matheus. “As Schoolhouse steps into this next chapter with HVLG, our priority is thoughtfully evolving the brand while preserving the integrity, craftsmanship, and character that define it.
For HVLG, the relaunch represents an alignment between the two companies, which share a commitment to design-driven products and craftsmanship. Backed by HVLG’s operational capabilities and manufacturing expertise, the Schoolhouse brand will evolve while maintaining its distinct voice.
Future collections and collaborations will continue to build upon the brand’s established design language while introducing new ideas and opportunities for growth across the home category.
