Maxim’s Crisp Wins Good Design Award

California-based Maxim Lighting’s Crisp Surface-Mount Collection has been awarded a 2024 Good Design Award by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design.

The Crisp Collection was noted for its innovative design, offering surface-mounted fixtures that mimic recessed lighting. Engineered to fit 4-0 junction boxes, the fixtures feature snap-in trims in a variety of styles and an optional mud-in ring for a sleek, trim-less finish. Delivering more than 1,000 lumens of glare-free light, the collection includes options for warm 3000K single CCT or 5CCT selectable with a concealed switch behind the faceplate.

The Good Design Awards is a prestigious global program for design excellence that celebrates innovation, sustainability, and functionality.
