Crystorama & BID to Host ASID Event
Illuminating Connections is a speed networking-style event that will be held in the company’s Dallas Market Center showroom during ASID’s national leadership conference.
New York-based lighting manufacturer Crystorama will join Black Interior Designers, Inc. (BID) to host Illuminating Connections, a relaxed, speed-dating-style mixer and evening of expert-led roundtables closing out ASID Gather: Catalyst, the association’s national conference.
The event takes place Friday, September 18 at 4:00 PM at the company’s permanent showroom in the Dallas Market Center (3503 TM).
Moving away from the traditional panel format, Illuminating Connections invites attendees to circulate freely among six themed roundtables, each hosted by interior designers, builders, and industry tastemakers offering candid, practical insight drawn from their own careers. The evening’s speed-networking-style structure allows guests to engage directly with multiple experts in an intimate, conversational setting, supported by cocktails, light bites, and music.
“Community has always been at the center of who we are as a brand,” said Kristi Gulino, director of communications and brand partnerships. “Illuminating Connections gives designers a space to ask the questions they don’t always get to ask — in a setting that feels more like a conversation with a mentor than a formal panel. Partnering with Black Interior Designers, Inc. to bring this to Catalyst felt like a natural extension of that mission.”
Each roundtable will run for the duration of the session, with guests welcome to arrive, participate, and move between tables at any time. Clearly marked table signage will guide guests to each expert and topic.
