ALA Searches for New President & CEO — Could It be You?

The American Lighting Association (ALA) – the trade association representing the residential lighting, controls, and ceiling fan industry – has launched its search for a new president and CEO. The announcement comes following the retirement of Larry Lauck and the subsequent appointment of interim president & CEO Laurie Gross.

ALA is dedicated to increasing consumer awareness of lighting and driving industry growth through education, marketing, and government advocacy. The new president & CEO will be responsible for guiding the organization into its next chapter while continuing to support ALA’s member retailers, manufacturers, sales representatives, designers, and industry partners.

The ALA Board of Governors has appointed an Executive Search Committee that will lead the search process to identify a qualified candidate who will drive ALA’s initiatives and support its members in an evolving marketplace.

Executive Search Committee members include:

•            Cathy Choi, President & CEO, Bulbrite

•            Maria Mullen, CEO, Hubbardton Forge

•            Stacey Summerville Ramsay, Regional Showroom Manager, Inline Electric

•            Gabriel Trinidad, General Manager, Lighting Inc.

•            Todd Teiber, President, Teiber & Company

“As we begin the search for a new President & CEO, we look forward to finding a visionary leader who will build on our strong foundation and lead our association into a promising future,” said ALA Executive Search Committee lead Cathy Choi, president & CEO of Blubrite.

A full job description, including information on how to apply, can be found on LinkedIn and the American Society of Association Executives’ (ASAE) website.
