Crystorama to Host Panel With Sherwin-Williams

Crystorama announces designer programming during Dallas Design Week in September.

New York-based Crystorama Lighting, in collaboration with Sherwin-Williams, will bring together leading voices from the design, color, and wellness communities for “Change Your Light, Change Your Life: The Designer’s Guide to Color, Mood, and the Spaces That Shape Us” during Dallas Design Week on Wednesday, September 16, at 11 a.m. in the Crystorama showroom (3503 TM) at Dallas Market Center.

Prior to the panel, attendees are invited to a meet & greet with the panelists, followed by a guided showroom tour with interior designer Nina Lichtenstein highlighting Crystorama’s biophilic-inspired lighting collections. The experience will give designers an up-close look at nature-inspired forms, organic silhouettes, and thoughtful lighting details that support the broader conversation around wellness-centered design.

Moderated by Antonio DeLoatch of Antonio DeLoatch Designs, the panel will feature Ginger Curtis of Urbanology Designs; Ashley Hughes of Muse Noire Interiors; Nina Lichtenstein of Custom Home Design; and Ashlynn Bourque of Sherwin-Williams.

As neuroaesthetics continues to influence the design industry, the discussion will explore how color, light, and the built environment impact the way people think, feel, and interact with the spaces around them. Through the lens of residential, hospitality, and commercial design, panelists will examine how color psychology, lighting temperature, biophilic design, and human-centered principles work together to support mood, restoration, focus, connection, and emotional well-being.

Designed for interior designers and trade professionals, the conversation will move beyond theory into real-world application, offering accessible insights and practical frameworks designers can use to meet growing client expectations around wellness-centered spaces. From creating environments that feel restorative and personal to understanding how lighting and color choices can shape the emotional character of a room, the panel will give attendees a stronger foundation for using light and color as meaningful tools in their work.

“The design industry is experiencing a meaningful shift toward understanding how our environment affects the way we think, feel, and interact,” said Kristi Gulino, communications director at Crystorama. “This panel brings together experts from across design, color, and wellness to explore that evolution. In partnership with Sherwin-Williams, we are creating a larger platform for designers to examine how color and light can shape the future of human-centered design. Together, these conversations demonstrate how thoughtful design decisions can support well-being, foster connection, and create more meaningful experiences within the spaces we inhabit.”

The discussion serves as a continuation of the broader conversation around color, wellness, and the future of design taking place throughout Dallas Design Week at Dallas Market Center.

Immediately following the panel, attendees are invited to continue the dialogue at Sherwin-Williams’ Anthology ColorMix 2027 Dine & Design presentation in the Samsung Experience Center, located one floor above the Crystorama showroom in TM 4604.

Together, the two programs provide designers with a unique opportunity to explore how color and light work together to influence human experience and shape the future of residential, hospitality, and commercial environments.
