Renowned potter and author Jonathan Adler – whose design expertise includes lamps and lighting fixtures, decorative accessories, furniture, rugs, pillows and more – will be creating a line for Kuzco.
Lighting manufacturer Kuzco Group – which includes brands Kuzco, Alora, Alora Mood, Insight, and Auroralight – has inked an agreement with American potter and designer Jonathan Adler. The partnership will significantly expand Adler’s lighting offering in new wholesale channels, with the debut collection set to launch at Lightovation in January 2027.
Combining Jonathan Adler’s design language of what he calls “Modern American Glamour” with Kuzco Group’s manufacturing capabilities and global supply chain expertise, the agreement introduces a new generation of lighting that blends sculptural form, material richness, and modern functionality with the signature qualities of Jonathan Adler.
“Lighting is my secret weapon: it’s what cranks any interior design project up to an 11. I’m thrilled to partner with the experts at Kuzco to bring my vision to life — and light,” said Jonathan Adler.
Kuzco and Adler will develop a comprehensive assortment of lighting fixtures across key categories, with an emphasis on bold silhouettes, elevated finishes, and thoughtful detailing. Designed to resonate with both trade professionals and design-savvy consumers, the collection will be supported by a fully integrated go-to-market strategy spanning wholesale, retail, and digital channels.
“We are beyond excited to partner with Jonathan Adler, a true American design icon whose voice and aesthetic are unmistakable,” stated Paul Sidhu, vice president of brand at Kuzco Group. “This partnership represents a unique opportunity to further expand Jonathan’s vision even further in the lighting category. By combining his design expertise with our manufacturing know-how, we are creating something truly special that resonates across the market.”
In the past, Adler has created lighting for Robert Abbey and for other design partnerships as well as for his own collections.
