Women’s leadership development network WithIt is partnering with MC Studio and Heritage School of Interior Design – Dallas for a CEU session held at Dallas Market Center during the week of Lightovation.
Titled Designing the Relationship: CEU & Curated Shopping Experience, the two-part CEU event will be held at Dallas Market Center (DMC) on June 25th, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Textile Salon in the Interior Home + Design Center (IHDC), and is in partnership with WithIt, MC Studio and the Heritage School of Interior Design – Dallas.
This experiential event was created to bring together education, connection, and sourcing to help interior designers strengthen client relationships while building industry partnerships.
“Design is about more than decision making – design is about building trusting relationships and creating spaces that feel like home,” said Jen McNairy, owner of MC Studio, a DMC exhibitor whose to-the-trade showroom is at IHDC 2F140 and features brands such as Bernhardt, Norwalk, and Regina Andrew. “I value the quality of relationship that I have with my clients, vendors, and showroom staff — taking care of each other is our first priority.”
Designing the Relationship: CEU & Curated Shopping Experience is led by Kim Bailey, CEO & executive director of Heritage School of Interior Design – Dallas, alongside Jen McNairy, owner of MC Studio. The CEU explores how designers build strong client relationships through communication, trust, and thoughtful client qualification.During the CEU, attendees will gain insight into expectation-setting, trust-building, and establishing strong project foundations.
The course is based on Bailey’s 22 years of experience as a residential interior designer, business owner of Design Lifestyles, LLC, and educator. She is an IDS Professional, CLIPP Certified Living in Place Professional, and an active ASID Affiliate and NKBA member.
“Success in design is not just measured by beautiful projects, but (by) the people encouraged and the legacy we leave behind in the industry,” Bailey said.
The event begins in Textile Salon (IHDC 2F215) at 3p.m. and the experience continues across the hall at MC Studio (IHDC 2F140), where attendees can engage directly with the showroom team and enjoy limited-time-only featured brands and collaborations. Textile Salon is a trade-only space that is open daily and serving interior designers, hospitality designers, architects, and builders.
Designers who attend both events will be entered to win a custom-designed chair valued up to $3,700. The winner will collaborate one-on-one with an MC Studio designer to select fabrics and create a personalized piece.
