WithIt to Offer Additional Scholarships
Thanks to two generous donations, WithIt will award more scholarships than usual in 2026.
This year WithIt, the Women’s Leadership Development Network, will include additional recipients to the 2026 annual scholarships courtesy of two key donations. The scholarships support talented students who are majoring in home industry-related fields.
The association recently received a $50,000 grant from the Heritage Home Group Charitable Trust for scholarships in the 2026 calendar year and includes the opportunity for students to attend the Professional Conference in August in Kansas City.
WithIt also received a $17,500 donation from the Boardman Family Foundation to be used for scholarships. This gift will allow WithIt to give additional scholarships to students and women in the industry.
The association has announced that applications for those scholarships are now available here.
To be eligible, the applicant must be a full-time college sophomore or junior in good standing. Scholarship funds must be used for tuition at an accredited institution of higher learning by the date given with the scholarship.
Students applying for a scholarship must have a major in one of the following as it applies to the home furnishings industry: Accessory Design, Architectural Design, Forestry, Furniture Design, Textile Design, Graphic Design, Interior Architecture, Marketing with a Design or Furniture minor, Sustainable Design or majors related to the home and furnishing industries.
The application deadline is March 2, 2026.
