Jeff Sokol Joins Innovations Lighting

The 30-year lighting industry veteran has been appointed general manager.

Effective immediately, Jeff Sokol has joined New York-based lighting manufacturer Innovations Lighting as general manager.

Sokol began his lighting career more than 30 years ago as a senior product designer at Chicago-based domestic lighting manufacturer Framburg, which became the first of several lighting companies under American Lighting Brands.

Sokol’s role at Framburg and American Lighting Brands expanded to include cross-functional collaboration with the operations, sales, and production teams. He developed a comprehensive understanding of the lighting industry as the head of the purchasing and sourcing departments for those companies, where he managed supplier relationships while leading product design initiatives.

His leadership and strategic vision led to his appointment as chief operating officer of Framburg in 2006. In that position, Sokol oversaw company-wide operations, including manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, production, and facilities management for both custom and production product lines.

“Jeff brings a deep passion and expertise to the field of lighting design and manufacturing,” noted Innovations Lighting founder Robert Marash.

Sokol’s primary focus will be managing supplier relationships, establishing domestic production lines, and ensuring operational excellence throughout the organization.
