One Source Lighting Sold to Crescent Lighting

Pacific Northwest retailer Crescent Lighting has acquired One Source Lighting in Billings, Montana.

Washington State-based Crescent Lighting Supply – which acquired Aztec Lighting in Arizona last June and all four locations of Chuckanut Lighting in Washington in fall 2024 – has broadened its presence by acquiring One Source Lighting in Montana.

“In a wonderful way to finish 2025 and start 2026, we are excited to announce the acquisition of One Source Lighting in Billings, Montana,” noted Grant Jones, CEO and president of Crescent Lighting. “I am thrilled to be partnering with Lauri Patterson and her team, continuing to provide elite service and expertise to the residential and hospitality markets of southcentral Montana and northern Wyoming. It’s another pinch-me-moment as we continue to grow with great people, with great relationships. 2026 is going to be a fun year.”

In her own announcement of the news, Lauri Patterson of One Source said, “I am happy to share that I have sold my company One Source Lighting. Crescent Lighting is a powerhouse group with seven showrooms under their three-state umbrella. But the best news is that I get to keep doing what I love in the world of lighting — designing, specifying and working with clients to bring the residential or commercial projects to ‘light!’ Thanks to everyone for supporting my small business for 22 years and here’s to hoping we can continue to work together for years to come!”

Patterson is an active member of the American Lighting Association (ALA) – having earned her CLC designation – as well as the cooperative Lighting One, where she has served on the advisory council.

One Source Lighting in Billings opened its doors in November 2003 and serves customers in Montana as well as Wyoming . In 2013, One Source Lighting transitioned its showroom into a full-service design center.
