Peekskill, N.Y.-based Innovations Lighting has acquired Connecticut-based, family-operated domestic outdoor lighting manufacturer Brass Traditions, a brand of Malco, Inc. The acquisition allows Innovations Lighting to enter the outdoor lighting market as well as offer American-made product.
“This acquisition isn’t just about expanding our product offering — it’s about honoring craftsmanship, investing in our future, and thoughtfully growing in a category that matters deeply to our customers and our brand,” wrote Greg Mazza, president of Innovations Lighting, in a letter to customers.
“Brass Traditions has been designing and building high-quality outdoor lighting in rural Connecticut for over 30 years. Their commitment to detail, durability, and timeless design aligns perfectly with our vision at Innovations. Bringing their legacy into our family allows us to offer even more to our partners — especially as we step more confidently into the outdoor lighting space,” Mazza continued, adding, “It’s a milestone that reflects months of collaboration and long-term thinking, and I’m grateful to the amazing teams on both sides who made it possible.”
