2 Brazilian Lighting Manufacturers Share 1 High Point Showroom

Brazilian lighting manufacturers Geo Contemporary and Accord Lighting are jointly expanding their presence at the upcoming April High Point Market by opening a shared showroom on the first floor of Market Square. Although the two companies operate independently, the opportunity to display two well-known lighting manufacturers in one space helps highlight the unique artistry and design that’s emerging from Brazil.

“We’ve had a showroom in High Point for a couple of years now, but this move to a larger space on the first floor will help us showcase our products in an even better light,” stated Bruce Hathaway, director of sales. “We’re thrilled to be sharing our showroom with Geo Contemporary because it provides market-goers an opportunity to explore two complementary, yet distinctively different, Brazilian companies in one place.”

Added Mayra D’Avila, CEO of Geo Contemporary, “We’re delighted to join our Brazilian friends at Accord to present Geo Contemporary at High Point this year. Brazil is a country renowned for its creativity and quality in its products, and we are excited to introduce our products to the American market, offering a different perspective on the lighting industry. With 25 years of experience in lighting and design, we see this as a wonderful opportunity to showcase the artistry and craftsmanship of Brazilian-made products.”

High Point Market runs April 26-30; the shared showroom is in MS140.
