Theo Shpunder Joins Innovations Lighting as Senior Director of Sales

New York-based Innovations Lighting has appointed Theo Shpunder as senior director of sales. With more than 25 years of experience in the lighting industry, he brings deep industry knowledge, an entrepreneurial drive, and a proven track record of success in both showroom and agency sales.

Shpunder began his career in 1998 as the owner of Premier Lighting & Design in Garwood, New Jersey. Over nearly two decades, he built a reputation for delivering exceptional lighting solutions and cultivating strong customer relationships. In 2017, he relocated to North Carolina and launched Carolina Lighting Sales, representing a single manufacturer and further honing his expertise in the regional market.

His entrepreneurial spirit led to the creation of Southern Glow Lighting Sales in 2020, in partnership with a respected industry veteran. That agency would later merge with a long-established group to form Southern Glow Sales in 2023, uniting decades of experience and expanding the agency’s influence across the Carolinas.

In his new role, Shpunder will oversee Innovations Lighting’s national sales strategy, with a focus on growing market share, strengthening partnerships with representatives and showrooms, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
