In Memoriam: Alli Burns

Almost exactly one month after her father passed away on September 15, Alli Burns of Trinity Sales Group has passed unexpectedly on October 16 at age 33.

Both Jason and Alli Burns worked for lighting agency Trinity Sales Group at the time of their passing. A celebration of life for Jason Burns had been scheduled for October 22, but has been postponed. As of press time, a new date to commemorate Jason and Alli has not been announced.

Trinity Sales Group informed the industry of the tragic loss to the industry and their company last week:

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our colleague and dear friend, Alli Burns, on October 16, 2026.

“With more than 12 years of experience in the lighting industry, Alli built her career on a passion for decorative lighting, meaningful customer relationships, and a genuine commitment to the people she served. As a sales representative with Trinity Sales Group, she brought knowledge, collaboration, and a personal touch to every interaction.

“But what we will remember most about Alli is the joy she brought to those around her.

“Alli lit up a room and always made anyone she met feel welcome. Her warmth and joy are what we will miss most when we think about her. She was fun, kind, and a team player.

“Her passing comes just weeks after the loss of her father and our colleague, Jason Burns. Our hearts are with the Burns family as they navigate these unimaginable losses.

“We are grateful for the relationships Alli built, the contributions she made to our team, and the privilege of calling her our colleague and friend.

“Please join us in keeping Leslie, Alli’s son, and the entire Burns family in your thoughts and prayers.”
