Hubbardton Forge Unveils Collab With Christopher Todd

The domestic manufacturer debuted the initial lighting launch with interior designer Christopher Todd during High Point Market.

Vermont-based Hubbardton Forge has announced its first design collaboration with Design Advisory Council member Christopher Todd. An Arkansas native currently based in Las Vegas and Nashville, Todd was among the charter members of the manufacturer’s Design Advisory Council when it was formed in 2023.

Todd specializes in different genres of design that not only include interior design, but event design, including legendary events like the Academy Awards and luxury auto launches, as well as exquisite floral and holiday décor, where he has designed and decorated celebrity homes, luxury hotels and retail spaces throughout the United States.

“I design for my clients,” Todd has said. “It’s about them, not about me. I think about how people live, with a focus on ‘Quality of Life’ design. This new collection [with Hubbardton Forge] is truly a dream come true. With any other company, they wouldn’t have been able to create the vision I had. At Hubbardton, there were no ‘Nos’. We focused on style and scale.”

When designing the initial collection for Hubbardton Forge, Todd noted that he was inspired by Greek design and the Art Deco period and “developed a completely new style that you see in these pieces,” he stated. “I like different patterns and shapes that tell a story of structure. These pieces are very architectural. I’m so excited to see where this journey will go, and to see these designs in homes and hotels…”

The first collection of Christopher Todd Living by Hubbardton Forge will be on display in the manufacturer’s showroom at Interhall in the IHFC building during High Point Market. The line will also be shown in the company’s permanent showrooms in the Dallas Market Center and at Las Vegas Market.
