Maria Mullen, who has served as president of the company, since 2020 has left the company.
The board of directors of Vermont-based lighting manufacturer Hubbardton Forge has announced a recently completed executive transition.
Maria Mullen has left Hubbardton Forge; Steve Wiegers has been promoted to the role of president and general manager. “We thank Maria for her dedication and wish her all the best in her next chapter,” a statement from the company read.
Wiegers began his career with Hubbardton Forge 24 years ago as a manufacturing team member and has held a variety of managerial roles within the company before becoming vice president of operations in 2020.
According to the statement issued by the board of directors, “We are confident that Steve’s depth of knowledge of Hubbardton Forge products, processes and people will continue to elevate the quality of the brand as we move into the future.”
