Fanimation Ranked Among Best Places to Work

The ceiling fan manufacturer made the list of 150 standout employers in the state of Indiana.

The 2026 Best Places to Work in Indiana – an annual list compiled as part of an Indiana Chamber of Commerce program – signaled out 150 employers throughout the state in more than 20 industries that are “setting the pace for workplace excellence,” according to a statement released by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. Zionsville, Indiana-based ceiling fan company Fanimation was among the honorees.

Now in its 21^st year, the Best Places to Work program grouped companies into five size categories: Small (15-34 employees); Small-Medium (35-74); Medium (75-249); Large 250-999); and Major (1,000 or more). Fanimation is in the Medium size category, along with  49 other companies that range from healthcare, construction, and schools to engineering and consulting among others.

An awards dinner was held on May 13 to celebrate the winners at the Indiana Convention Center and presented by KSM.  Winning organizations represent nearly 30 cities and towns in the state.

The top companies in the state were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Workforce Research Group handled the selection process.

In addition to the awards ceremony, winners will be recognized via a special section of the Indiana Chamber’s BizVoice® magazine.

All companies that participated in the 2026 Best Places to Work program receive an in-depth evaluation identifying strengths and weaknesses according to their employees. In turn, this report can be used in developing or enhancing employee retention and recruitment programs.
