DMC to Host DALI Summit Alongside ArchLIGHT Summit

Dallas Market Center will host DALI Alliance’s DALI Summit to coincide with its annual ArchLIGHT Summit in September.

Dallas Market Center (DMC) has announced that the 3rd Annual DALI Summit, hosted by the DALI Alliance, will take place September 16 and 17 alongside ArchLIGHT Summit, the commercial and architectural lighting event held September 15 and 16. Co-locating the DALI Summit with ArchLIGHT Summit allows attendees to explore both advanced lighting control technologies and design-focused programming within a single visit.

The DALI Summit will begin on September 16, aligning with the second day of ArchLIGHT Summit. For the first time, the DALI Summit will expand to two days, continuing on September 17 with a dedicated stand-alone day of DALI-focused technical sessions and training for manufacturers and industry professionals. This structure provides crossover opportunities on September 16 for attendees of both events, reflecting the strong and growing overlap between lighting design and lighting control communities, along with a deeper technical experience during the dedicated second day of the DALI Summit targeted at controls and luminaire manufacturers along with engineers and system integrators.

The DALI Alliance leads the worldwide adoption of DALI, the internationally standardized digital language for lighting control, enabling interoperability across drivers, sensors, input devices, and controllers from different manufacturers. The alliance continues to expand the ecosystem through initiatives such as DALI-2, which improves product compatibility; D4i, which supports smart, IoT-ready luminaires; and DALI+, which extends the technology across wireless and IP-based networks. Learn more at dali-alliance.org.

ArchLIGHT Summit brings together lighting designers, architects, interior designers, engineers, and specifiers for meeting new exhibitors, attending accredited education sessions, and taking part in hands-on experiences exploring the latest innovations in commercial and architectural lighting.

“Co-locating our third DALI Summit with the ArchLIGHT Summit environment strengthens the value for both communities and connects design and technology in a more meaningful way,” said Paul Drosihn, General Manager of the DALI Alliance. “Professionals attending ArchLIGHT Summit can deepen their understanding of lighting control standards, smart building integration, and the future of connected lighting, while DALI attendees gain exposure to the broader architectural and design perspectives shaping the built environment.”

“ArchLIGHT Summit continues to grow as the destination for the architectural lighting community,” said Cindy Morris, President and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Welcoming the DALI Summit alongside the event adds an

important technology and standards perspective, giving attendees deeper insight into the role of connected lighting in modern building design.”

As smart lighting and connected building technologies continue to evolve, the collaboration enhances both events by creating a shared platform for education, networking, and innovation across lighting design and technology, strengthening connections between lighting technology and architectural design.
