An innovative approach to illuminating homes using smart technology will be a focal point at the Schonbek/Modern Forms showroom, where the WAC Home Collection will make its debut.
New York-based WAC Group will introduce the WAC Home Collection to retailers, designers and home furnishing professionals at the upcoming High Point Market.
The new platform allows homeowners to have a lighting system that adapts to their circadian rhythms, activities and mood from sunrise to sundown.
WAC Home brings layers of lighting – from task and accent lighting to ambient – together as one connected experience with select luminaires from across WAC Group brands: performance-driven solutions from WAC Lighting, sculptural designs from Modern Forms, and crystal statement pieces from Schonbek.
WAC Home offers tunable white and dim-to-warm technology that allows light to transition naturally throughout the day and into the evening. With the MyWAC app, WallStation, and WAC-Mesh wireless control, the homeowner can adjust individual fixtures or entire rooms in seconds by tapping a button, sliding a dimmer, or by speaking a command.
For spaces not connected to the app, WAC Home-compatible fixtures deliver tunable white and dim-to-warm and default to a comfortable 3000K to provide consistent illumination right out of the box. These fixtures are also fully compatible with standard ELV and TRIAC dimmers.
High Point Market attendees can see products in the WAC Home Collection at the Schonbek/Modern Forms showroom on the third floor of the International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC H-327).
