Robinson Lighting’s Plymouth, Minnesota showroom has launched a new division: National Lighting Supplier, Inc. (NLS). While the Minneapolis-area store has served regional and national builders since 2024, last month the showroom officially announced its new business dedicated to the builder channel.
Described as a full-service lighting company, NLS has a custom LED fabrication department to deliver accent lighting for undercabinet, ceiling cove and toe-kick space, illuminated closet rods, plus linear LED fixtures. According to the company, “all are assembled locally for consistency, faster installation, and reduced labor costs.”
The NLS team includes: Jim Palmersheim, outside sales manager; Katie Bohr and Andrea Nutzmann, inside project sales; Tim Walther, custom fabrication specialist; Jeff Preiner, warehouse coordinator; and Denise Meinders, administrative coordinator.
Robinson Lighting USA is part of the Canadian showroom group Robinson Lighting & Bath, which is under the leadership of the fifth generation of Robinsons (Brett and Leigh, son and daughter of the late Bruce Robinson).
Robinson Lighting USA was a finalist in the 36th annual ARTS Awards, which was held last month in Dallas.
