WithIt Presents “Owning Your Worth: A Powerful Conversation for Women in Design” During January Dallas Market

Owning Your Worth: A Powerful Conversation for Women in Design, will be held on January 9 in Dallas Market Center’s Textile Salon

High Point, N.C.-based WithIt, the women’s leadership development network for the home and furnishings industry, will host an insightful panel discussion and boxed lunch at the upcoming Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, in partnership with Coco & Dash. Lunch will be sponsored by Hubbardton Forge.

“Owning Your Worth: A Powerful Conversation for Women in Design,” will be held on January 9 in the DMC’s Textile Salon (IHDC 2F215) on the second floor of the Interior Home and Design Center. The 7,000-sq.-ft. Textile Salon is a DMC-owned and -operated trade-only exhibition space and event venue featuring luxury brands of fine fabrics, wallpaper, window coverings, and rugs catering exclusively to interior designers, hospitality designers, architects, and home builders.

This insightful discussion will present a candid conversation about what it looks like for women to stand confidently in the value they bring.

“I spent years learning to trust my instincts instead of questioning them,” said Teddie Garrigan, co-founder and creative director of Coco & Dash. “Women are often taught to soften their voice or wait for permission. Owning your worth is about honoring what you know, standing confidently in your experience, and allowing yourself to take up the space you’ve earned.”

Moderated by Courtney Garrigan, co-founder and president of Coco & Dash, the discussion brings together two women with very different paths yet a shared sense of strength: Teddie Garrigan and Maria Mullen, CEO of Hubbardton Forge.

During the discussion, industry experts will share honest stories from their careers including the moments that tested them and lessons that shaped them. Together, they’ll explore the difference between knowing your worth and truly owning it in the way you work, lead, and make decisions. The panel’s organizers say to expect a grounded, relatable conversation filled with insight and encouragement.

As a bonus, immediately following the discussion attendees are invited to meet a select group of women leaders in the home industry and enjoy light refreshments in the Coco & Dash showroom, IHDC 1D106. Attendees will need to be registered with Dallas Market Center to enter the campus, and guests are asked to RSVP to secure your spot here.
