Dallas Market Center (DMC) has unveiled a list of lighting manufacturers from South and Central America that have passed a vetting process to participate in Nearshoring America at Lightovation. The exhibition will take place January 10-12 on the fourth floor of the Trade Mart (4909) with the goal of connecting lighting brands and their representatives with vetted factories and supply chain service providers closer to the United States.
“Brands are looking for faster, more resilient sourcing options, and nearshoring within the Americas is unlocking new opportunities for speed to market and growth,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of DMC. “By bringing these companies directly to Lightovation, we’re making it easier than ever to discover partners who can deliver both quality and proximity.”

• Shorter shipping times and improved logistics
• Increased production flexibility
• Overlapping time zones and easier communication
• Reduced geopolitical and transportation risk
• Opportunities for customization and smaller production runs
In support of the expo, a Nearshoring America INDEX has been created that includes a vetted list of more than 300 manufacturers, sourcing agents and supply chain service providers organized by country. A Nearshoring newsletter is currently being produced that includes background, research, commentary, and timely topics for the business of nearshoring.
