StyleCraft and Harp & Finial Names Dann Foley as Creative Director

Mississippi-based StyleCraft Home Collection has named celebrity interior and product designer Dann Foley as creative director for both brands.

StyleCraft Home Collection is the parent company of Harp & Finial, which will be forging a new path and design direction led by Dann Foley, founder of The Dann Foley Collection. “We are thrilled to share the news that one of our most successful collaborations and licensees, Dann Foley, has accepted the position to be our new creative director,” said president & CEO Jimmy Webster of StyleCraft + Harp & Finial, adding, “With an expansion into even more products and categories launching very soon.”

Foley said, “I have just been named the new head of design, with a new role that was created for me, with the title of creative director for StyleCraft and for Harp & Finial. This means I will be designing their entire line and bringing their full category of products from concept through to the final sale. My role will involve designing all of their brands home furnishings, lighting and decor products, with a directive from our president & CEO Jimmy Webster to, ‘Give the brands new life!’”

The Harp & Finial collection comprises approximately 450-500 SKUs of home furnishings and décor products. “This new opportunity allows me a whole new level of design and storytelling. As an established and successful lifestyle brand that has always been designer-focused, each brand is looking to evolve. The difference between the two brands will be simple; the Dann Foley Collection with StyleCraft will remain a constant and Harp & Finial collections will continue as a designer-focused lifestyle brand under its own label, designed by me. Along with my new role, I have also signed a new agreement to continue my Dann Foley for StyleCraft collection going forward, and I couldn’t be more excited and grateful for what the future will bring for both brands,” Foley said.

He added, “I am thrilled to accept this new creative role, and I am here now to initiate a complete evolution of their brands. This incredible opportunity to reenergize such an iconic brand and to work directly with Jimmy [Webster] is a dream come true for me as a designer.  To be given design control of not just the product, but the entire process, the storytelling and the merchandising is an incredible opportunity for me.” Foley emphasized,  “Harp & Finial has always been StyleCraft’s designer brand. Now for both brands, I will be able to create distinctive occasional furniture, upholstery, case goods, portable lighting, hard-wire lighting, art, mirrors, pillows and accessories. And as both brands continue to evolve, we forge a new path with a new look and dive into new exciting categories of products to be added soon.”

The Dann Foley Lifestyle brand will debut collections for StyleCraft at the Fall High Point Market, including 40 new pillow SKUs.

StyleCraft and Harp & Finial will be hosting a cocktails and luncheon event to celebrate Dann Foley’s new role on Monday, October 27 at 12 p.m. in the Harp & Finial showroom (IHFC H-440). In addition to a Meet & Greet with Foley, the event will feature new collections from StyleCraft’s other licensed designers Tamara Day, Norman Wyatt Jr., and Austin Allen James. Their new collections will be on display at StyleCraft’s showroom at 130 South Main Street and in the Harp & Finial showroom.
