Hermitage Announces Promotions + New Hire

Nashville-based Hermitage Design Center has made the following changes to its team:

Rachel Fleischer Garmezy has been promoted to vice president of Business Development & Public Relations, effective September 1. In a statement, the company said, “This newly created role expands our presence in Commercial and Multi-Unit Projects while strengthening our Residential brand. Rachel’s experience in marketing and management, plus her industry background in New York, has already elevated Hermitage — her vision will now shape an entirely new department.”

Hermitage has also promoted David Jackson to vp/sales. In this expanded new role, he will oversee both National Accounts and Residential divisions, continuing to build on a legacy of dedication and results.

Hermitage noted: “David has been a cornerstone of Hermitage for 39 years. His leadership and deep expertise have guided our sales teams with consistency and excellence.”  

Previously, Jackson has served as senior account manager and director of sales for the company.

In addition, Todd Palmer has been hired as senior director of Purchasing. Palmer brings over three decades of leadership across operations, supply chain, and purchasing. Hermitage stated, “His proven track record in building strong supplier partnerships and optimizing processes will help Hermitage deliver even greater quality and efficiency to our customers.
