Charlie Bradburn Appointed President of Viking Electric

Charlie Bradburn has been appointed president of Viking Electric, a Sonepar company serving customers across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Chicago. Viking Electric operates 23 branch locations and employs over 900 associates, providing exceptional services and logistical solutions to residential and commercial electrical contractors, as well as the industrial market.

Bradburn joins Viking Electric with more than two decades of experience in distribution, including leadership positions at Lyman Companies and its parent company, US LBM Holdings, LLC, where he most recently held the position of Regional Vice President for the Midwest. He holds a B.A. in Financial Management and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of St. Thomas.

“Charlie has a strong track record of aligning strategy with customer needs and building high-performing teams that drive EBIT growth,” said Rob Taylor, President of Sonepar Americas. “He’s equally committed to employee engagement and creating clear pathways for associates to build fulfilling careers. We’re excited to welcome Charlie to Viking Electric and look forward to the impact his leadership will have on the business and the associates.”

Added Bradburn, “I’m honored to join Viking Electric and lead this exceptional team. Sonepar has made exciting investments in supply chain capabilities and digital innovation across their operating companies, and I look forward to building on Viking Electric’s impressive growth trajectory and operational excellence.”

Bradburn succeeds Stacy Stanslaski, who was appointed VP/Business Transformation at Sonepar USA in March and has continued to lead Viking Electric in the interim. In her new role, Stanslaski is bringing her leadership and strategic expertise to Sonepar’s national transformation initiatives.
