Part of the Surya umbrella of brands since April 2023, Dallas-based Global Views has appointed award-winning designer Aaron Johnson as Senior VP, Product Development. In this role, he will oversee product development across the Global Views, Studio A Home, and GV Design brands, ensuring the continued delivery of distinctive, design-driven collections.
Johnson has vast experience in product design for the home décor industry as product designer for luxury tabletop manufacturer Nambe for the past 30 years, and a former director of design at Fort Worth, Texas-based Quorum International for its Oxygen and Cyan Design brands for 27 years.
With a background in fine art, architecture, and product design, Johnson brings decades of experience in the luxury furnishings industry and a reputation for enduring collections.
According to a press release issued by Global Views, this leadership transition is one of several strategic moves the company is making to better serve the design community, including enhanced merchandising, an improved digital experience, and a renewed focus on brand presentation.
