New President Named for Leadership Transition at Warshauer Electric Supply

New Jersey-based Warshauer Electric Supply, a Rexel USA company, has announced a leadership transition that reflects the company’s continued commitment to growth.

After more than 40 years at the helm as president and owner, Jim Warshauer will transition into a strategic advisory and consulting role. Under his leadership, Warshauer Electric Supply expanded its footprint across New Jersey and earned a reputation as a trusted leader in electrical distribution, known for its customer-centric approach and forward-thinking solutions.

Effective immediately, Jim Dunn, previously executive vice president, will assume full leadership responsibility for Warshauer Electric Supply. A 30-year veteran of the company, Dunn has been instrumental in driving key initiatives such as Warshauer Tech, Warshauer Trade, and the Generator Sales & Service division. His leadership has helped propel the company to record performance levels in recent years. Dunn holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and is both a LEED Accredited Professional and a Certified Green Professional (CGP).

“I’m honored the Rexel team has faith in me to lead this incredible organization over the next several years,” Dunn stated. “I look forward to continuing the great legacy built by our founder Martin Warshauer, and then his son Jim Warshauer, our dynamic leader for the past 40 years. This company has excelled for the past 70+ years because we have the best and brightest people in the industry. I hope to inspire them, mentor them, empower them, and challenge them to continue to be the best of the best in New Jersey and beyond.”

This leadership transition ensures continuity while positioning Warshauer Electric Supply for its next chapter of growth and innovation.
