The winners of the 16th annual Showroom of the Year Awards were announced at a special awards ceremony during Lightovation on Thursday, June 19. The award presentation was produced by Lightovation host Dallas Market Center (DMC) and official media sponsor Linda Longo, editor-in-chief of Lighting News Now, to honor lighting retailers from throughout North America, with one Showroom of the Year winner in each of three dollar-volume categories, along with three specialty awards.
“We’re proud to celebrate these outstanding showrooms that truly set the standard in lighting retail,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of DMC. “Their innovation, dedication, and all-around excellence impressed our judges and serve as a model for the entire industry.”
From entries and nominations received from January through March, the winners were chosen from five finalists in each dollar-volume category: Revenue Under $2 Million; Revenue $2 Million to $5 Million; and Revenue $5 Million and Over. All Showroom of the Year finalists were also eligible for three specialty awards: Outstanding Merchandising Display; Exceptional Community Involvement; and the newly added honor, Showroom of the Future, which recognizes innovative uses of technology and digital marketing.
“This year’s finalists demonstrated an inspiring commitment to innovation and connection,” Longo said. “From elevating the in-store experience to finding new ways to engage their communities, the 2025 Showroom of the Year winners are redefining what it means to be successful in lighting retail. Congratulations to all!”
