DMC to Host Two Nearshoring America Trade Shows in January 2026

Dallas Market Center (DMC) has announced the expansion of its international sourcing initiative, Nearshoring America, with two expos set to take place during the January 2026 Total Home & Gift and Lightovation Markets. These curated B2B trade events will focus on home & gift and lighting industries and are designed to connect U.S. brands and importers with production-ready partners from Mexico, Central, and South America.

Nearshoring America Expo for home & gift will take place January 7–9, 2026, during the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, while Nearshoring America for lighting will be held January 10–11.

As global sourcing becomes more unpredictable, nearshoring offers a faster, smarter alternative. These events empower U.S. retailers and importers to meet face-to-face with vetted partners throughout Latin America — improving flexibility, delivery speed, and collaboration.

“Nearshoring America is more than a sourcing event — it’s a learning environment and a launchpad for resilient, regional supply chains,” said Cindy Morris, President & CEO of DMC. “By aligning these expos with our most important trade events of the year, we are maximizing exposure and creating the most efficient, value-driven experience for our buyers and exhibitors.”

Nearshoring America Expo: Home & Gift

Dallas Total Home & Gift Market | January 7–9

Nearshoring America: Home & Gift, located on the 13th floor of the World Trade Center, will connect buyers with vetted manufacturers specializing in home décor, gifts, and lifestyle accessories. From handcrafted collections to turnkey production, manufacturers offer a curated mix of outdoor living, tableware & entertaining, textiles, home and seasonal décor, gifts, and more.

Nearshoring America Expo: Lighting

Lightovation | January 10–11, 2026

Held on the 4th floor of the Trade Mart, the lighting Expo will focus on lighting design, components, and manufacturing partnerships tailored to the evolving demands of residential and commercial lighting. Exhibitors will feature: finished lighting fixtures, components for custom installations, smart and connected lighting systems, ceiling fans, and more.

“As importing becomes more challenging for logistical and geopolitical reasons, nearshoring offers a timely and strategic alternative. Being able to connect with suppliers in the Americas – much closer to home – presents exciting new opportunities for our business,” Brandon Levin, president of Justice Design Group.

“Collaboration is going to continue and these types of events help us see the possibility to keep growing. I have no doubt that the nearshoring spectrum is going to become more popular,” Andres Flores, director at EquityLink America.

“Nearshoring is real  —and it’s happening right here in Dallas. Events like this open your eyes to what’s possible when you bring production closer to home. It’s not just about efficiency — it’s about building smarter, faster, and more resilient supply chains,” noted Charles Shepherd, vp/business development at NovaLink Inc.
