Dallas Market Center (DMC) has released the names of the 2025 Showroom of the Year Awards Finalists. This annual awards event honors top lighting retailers throughout North America.
Retailers are vetted on a number of criteria, including merchandising display, marketing and advertising, customer service and engagement, employee education and motivation, and community involvement. Finalists are named in three-dollar volume categories, then evaluated by a panel of judges, with a winning Showroom of the Year in each category. All finalists are also eligible for three specialty awards: Outstanding Merchandising Display, Exceptional Community Involvement and the newly added honor, Showroom of the Future.
New for 2025 is the Showroom of the Future designation. This updated honor reflects not only retail innovation and digital engagement, but also the use of modern tools and technology to enhance the in-store experience.
All winners will be announced during a special ceremony at 6pm on Thursday, June 19, in the Trade Mart fourth floor elevator lobby, during the June 18-21 Lightovation show in Dallas. The awards presentation will feature longtime lighting editor Linda Longo, the official media partner for the Showroom of the Year Awards. This event is open to all Lightovation attendees with no additional reservations or tickets required.
“We’re thrilled to shine a spotlight on lighting retailers who are setting new standards in creativity, connection, and customer experience,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “This year’s Showroom of the Future category is especially exciting and reflects how forward-thinking retailers are blending technology with in-store innovation to shape what’s next for the industry.”
