Remington Lighting Acquired by DALS

Pennsylvania-based Remington Lighting – which was founded as Remington Lamp in 1932 and served the residential market with a showroom in High Point for years before pivoting to the hospitality sector – has been acquired by Quebec-based DALS Lighting.

DALS’ line of recessed, undercabinet, outdoor, and interior lighting is familiar to both the architectural lighting community – as an exhibitor at Lightfair and LEDucation, for example – as well as residential-oriented lighting showrooms with its permanent showroom in the Dallas Market Center.

In the decades since Remington changed its focus to the hospitality market, the company has become a respected resource for bespoke custom projects and brand standard programs.

By acquiring Remington, DALS can expand its presence into the North American hospitality space and enhance its ability to serve hotel brands and commercial projects with high-quality lighting solutions.

“We are thrilled to welcome Remington Lighting to the DALS family,” said Joey Khatri, CEO of DALS Lighting. “Remington has built an outstanding reputation in the hospitality industry, and this acquisition allows us to combine our expertise to deliver even greater value to our customers. Together, we will continue to innovate and expand our reach in the hospitality lighting space.”

Doug Scott, President of Remington Lighting, added, “Partnering with DALS is an exciting and intentional progression for Remington, our clients, and our team. DALS brings great depth of experience and resources in LED technology that will enhance our future offerings, through the trusted Remington team of hospitality lighting experts. We remain committed to delivering the service and quality our clients rely upon; becoming part of DALS only strengthens those capabilities. We look forward to the opportunities this strategic step forward brings to our clients and  team.”

Both companies will continue to operate as they have under current leadership with a shared goal of delivering even more value to clients through this partnership.
