Lighting News Now<\/em> editor among the industry professionals on the nominating panel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next edition of the popular ARTS Awards is well underway. This week, Dallas Market Center (DMC<\/a>) and ART<\/a>, the creative home furnishings network, announced the committee and nominating panel for the 37th ARTS Awards<\/a>. Winners of the international awards for the home industry will be celebrated at the ARTS Awards gala on Friday, January 8, 2027, during the Total Home & Gift Market<\/a> (January 6-12) and Lightovation<\/a> (January 5-9).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ARTS Awards committee consists of three industry professionals, who are responsible for overseeing the nomination and selection of the ARTS Awards, including the categories of Academy of Achievement and HEARTS Award. They also serve on the nominating panel. The members of the committee are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Martha Graham, Martha Graham and Associates<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Christopher Todd Hall, Christopher Todd Design<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Maria Mullen, Hubbardton Forge<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ARTS Awards nominating panel is made up of independent industry professionals who will review the hundreds of nominees. Their evaluations determine the list of ARTS Awards finalists, who will subsequently submit their materials for judging in the fall. The members of the nominating panel are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Mike DiPaulo, Homefest<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Tim Flannery, Retired<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Caroline Hipple, HB2<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Linda Longo, Lighting News Now<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Monica Loving, Ivystone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis committee represents the depth and range of talent across our industry,\u201d said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. \u201cTheir insight and expertise will be invaluable as we identify this year\u2019s finalists and continue to raise the bar for the ARTS Awards.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe\u2019re grateful to this group for lending their time and expertise to such a thorough process,\u201d said Sharon Davis, executive director of ART. \u201cTheir collective knowledge of the industry ensures the strongest nominees rise to the top as finalists.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Online ballots were open March through June 25, with no fees, membership, or exhibiting requirements \u2014 anyone in the home d\u00e9cor industry could submit multiple nominations, including self-nominations, across retailer, manufacturer, designer, and sales representative categories. For 2026, the regional categories were updated, combining the West and Southwest and expanding the East to better reflect industry excellence nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The committee has reviewed this year\u2019s nominations and will announce finalists in August. Finalists submit their materials digitally by November, when a panel of five judges \u2013 plus a sixth from the Cascale | Sustainable Furnishings Council for the Green Award \u2013 scores each entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
