{"id":3763,"date":"2026-06-26T01:15:12","date_gmt":"2026-06-26T01:15:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lightingnewsnow.com\/?p=3763"},"modified":"2026-06-26T01:15:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-26T01:15:13","slug":"dmc-announces-2026-showroom-of-the-year-award-winners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lightingnewsnow.com\/?p=3763","title":{"rendered":"DMC Announces 2026 Showroom of the Year Award Winners"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The winners of the 17<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Showroom of the Year awards were recognized Thursday, June 25, at a ceremony during Lightovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hosted by Dallas Market Center alongside official media partner Linda Longo, Editor-in-Chief of <em>Lighting News Now<\/em>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasmarketcenter.com\/soty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Showroom of the Year<\/a> (SOTY) program honors the finest lighting retailers, naming a Showroom of the Year winner in each of three dollar-volume categories, along with three specialty award recipients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThese winners represent the very best of what the lighting industry has to offer,\u201d said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. \u201cThe creativity, customer focus, and community spirit they bring to lighting retail not only earned the admiration of our judges but also raise the bar for showrooms everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From entries and nominations received from December 2025 until March 2026, the winners were chosen from five finalists in each dollar-volume category: Revenue Under $2 Million, Revenue $2 Million to $5 Million, and Revenue $5 Million &amp; Over. All Showroom of the Year finalists were also eligible for three specialty awards: Outstanding Merchandising Display, Exceptional Community Involvement, and Showroom of the Future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cChoosing this year\u2019s winners was no easy task, given the exceptional caliber of showrooms we saw across every category,\u201d said Longo. \u201cThese retailers are setting new standards in visual merchandising, marketing, and community involvement, and their passion for the craft of lighting truly shines through.
