\u202fThe American Lighting Association will announce its Women in Lighting Leadership Award recipient at a special ceremony and networking reception open to the industry.
<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The American Lighting Association (ALA) Women in Lighting (WIL) committee will host its popular networking reception from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 25, during Lightovation. Ceiling fan manufacturer Fanimation will host the gathering in its showroom (TM 4943) on the third floor of the Dallas Market Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 Women in Lighting Leadership Award (WILLA) recipient will be revealed at the event. This award is given annually to an ALA member who exemplifies achievement, leadership, mentorship and philanthropy within and beyond the lighting industry. The award will officially be presented during the association\u2019s September 27-29 Conference at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Arizona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendance at the Lightovation event is open to everyone, regardless of gender or ALA membership status. The WIL events are intended to foster connections for professional women from all areas of the lighting industry and at all levels of experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to refreshments \u2013 including a themed specialty cocktail \u2013 attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a new 2026 commemorative Women in Lighting pin for $20. All of the proceeds from sales of the pin will support the WIL Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)(3) charity under the ALA Education Foundation that provides financial assistance for continuing education, ALA Conference attendance and professional certification opportunities for women in the lighting industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone can also support this fund year-round by making a donation or purchasing merchandise with the WIL logo here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone at the reception can enter a drawing to win a Fanimation ceiling fan of his or her choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
