{"id":3477,"date":"2026-05-13T12:04:03","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T12:04:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lightingnewsnow.com\/?p=3477"},"modified":"2026-05-13T12:04:03","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T12:04:03","slug":"jeff-sokol-joins-innovations-lighting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lightingnewsnow.com\/?p=3477","title":{"rendered":"Jeff Sokol Joins Innovations Lighting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The 30-year lighting industry veteran has been appointed general manager.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Effective immediately, Jeff Sokol has joined New York-based lighting manufacturer <a href=\"https:\/\/innovationslighting.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Innovations Lighting<\/a> as general manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sokol began his lighting career more than 30 years ago as a senior product designer at Chicago-based domestic lighting manufacturer Framburg, which became the first of several lighting companies under American Lighting Brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sokol\u2019s role at Framburg and American Lighting Brands expanded to include cross-functional collaboration with the\u00a0operations, sales, and production teams. He developed a comprehensive understanding of the lighting industry as the head of the purchasing and sourcing departments for those companies, where he managed supplier relationships while leading product design initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His leadership and strategic vision led to his appointment as chief operating officer of Framburg in 2006.
