Every year, national builder M\/I Homes<\/a> dedicates 17 \u201cbenefit homes\u201d in various areas of the country and donates a portion of the proceeds from the home sales to help fund cancer research at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. This year, Maxim Lighting<\/a> has donated all of the decorative fixtures for M\/I Homes\u2019 Benefit Home in Michigan, in partnership with the nonprofit Pelotonia<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center<\/a> is recognized as a leading institution in the pursuit of groundbreaking cancer treatments and therapies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Los Angeles-based Maxim Lighting joins M\/I Homes of Michigan as a committed partner of the annual Pelotonia Benefit Home, donating all of the decorative lighting for its 2026 build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a press release, Maxim Lighting stated, \u201cYear after year, our team collaborates closely to help bring this home to life, reflecting on a relationship built on trust, shared values, and a long-term commitment to the communities we serve. The M\/I Homes Benefit Home program brings together builders, manufacturers, and suppliers to construct a home with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Pelotonia and its mission to fund innovative cancer research.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 Michigan home is scheduled to begin construction in the coming weeks and will feature Maxim\u2019s donated fixtures as a way to \u201cadd comfort, warmth, and thoughtful design to a home created for a purpose beyond the build itself,\u201d the manufacturer said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMaxim Lighting has once again stepped up to support M\/I Homes of Michigan\u2019s annual Pelotonia Benefit Home by donating lighting fixtures for our 2026 build,\u201d said Max D\u2019Aristotile, vp\/purchasing at M\/I Homes. \u201cTheir contribution will help us complete the home efficiently and on schedule, creating a finished residence that will generate meaningful support for Pelotonia\u2019s groundbreaking cancer research.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Maxim executives, the cause is deeply personal. \u201cCancer has touched our organization, reaching members of our team. As a family-founded, multi-generational company, we view our team as an extension of family, and that experience strengthens our commitment to show, stay involved, and support work that helps families facing the same fight.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
