Crystorama Lighting is kicking off its new partnership with Science in Design by participating in a forward-thinking webinar that will take place on January 21.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York-based Crystorama<\/a> has become a partner with Science in Design<\/a>, the first lighting company to do so. Additional partners include Phillips Collection, Feizy Rugs, Benjamin Moore, 3M, Oldcastle APG, and designer Angela Harris of Trio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Science in Design teaches interior designers about the positive effects of beauty, nature, and fine design on people\u2019s physical and emotional health. The goal is to help designers use beauty to promote healing, which has been proven by the study of neuroaesthetics and medicine. The organization\u2019s mission is to help the design industry understand that they can be a source of health and well-being for their clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To that end, Science in Design will be holding an online presentation on Wednesday, January 21, that will explore how today\u2019s home furnishings innovators are harnessing the power of science to elevate their brands. Registration<\/a> is open to all in the home design industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a webinar described as a dynamic discussion that will uncover the science-drive future of home furnishings and interior design, industry leaders Jason Phillips of the Phillips Collection, Michael Bauer of Feizy Rugs, and Ryan Ranzino of Crystorama will reveal how biophilia and neuroaesthetics are transforming the way we design \u2014 and why these topics have become essential pillars for next-generation business strategies. Joining these three leaders will be Justin Alves, head of design from Jola Interactive, for an introduction to website design that incorporates these scientific principles.
