For that reason, Dallas Market Center (DMC) has announced that hotel reservations are now open for the June 2026 Lightovation (June 24- 27) show, which coincides with Dallas hosting FIFA World Cup 2026 matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While the World Cup is expected to significantly increase visitor traffic across the region, DMC has secured hotel room blocks with its preferred hotel partners to ensure buyers have access to convenient accommodations at rates consistent with usual June markets. The World Cup matches will take place 20 miles away from the DMC campus in Arlington, Texas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJune Lightovation will be an exciting time in Dallas, with the World Cup happening just outside the city,\u201d said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. \u201cThanks to early planning, we\u2019ve worked to secure great hotel options at excellent rates, and qualified Lightovation attendees may be eligible for special rebate opportunities. June\u2019s show will follow the typical Lightovation schedule, running Wednesday, June 24 through Saturday, June 27, while January Lightovation will follow the new winter schedule, running Saturday, January 10 through Tuesday, January 13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New Special Event Hotel Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n To safeguard buyer accommodations during this period of unusually high demand, DMC and its hotel partners have implemented a special booking policy designed to protect market guests from being displaced by hotels prioritizing FIFA attendees who may be willing to pay premium rates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 A non-refundable deposit equal to one night\u2019s room and tax will be charged at the time of booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 This deposit will be applied to the total reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u2022 The remaining balance will be collected upon arrival at the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Qualified attendees who book rooms in our Lightovation blocks by January 16 are entitled to a $100\/night rebate on all nights of their stay occurring between June 23-27. A link to request their rebate will be e-mailed after the show; they must be a qualified Lightovation buyer and must have picked up a Lightovation badge to be eligible for this rebate, which can be combined with other earned rebates through the Luminary program.
