AFX has just released a series of ceiling fans, its first entry into this category. “Expanding into ceiling fans was a natural step for AFX. Our portfolio is strongly aligned with the multi-family channel, and this expansion gives us the opportunity to provide our customers with a more complete overall solution,” noted Greg Weiss, vp\/product development and marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed primarily for new construction versus retrofit applications, the initial launch<\/a> is comprised of seven AC-powered ceiling fans in a variety of design styles from modern to transitional to suit a range of popular d\u00e9cors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“These seven distinct fan families provide a strong foundation of design and finish options. We view ceiling fans as a long-term strategic category for AFX, and we will continue to expand the families over time. This assortment that was just launched will be our focus for Lightovation in January,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 3-, 4-, and 5-blade models and all but one are equipped with a dimmable LED downlight (one has a light kit option in two styles). Those models with integrated LED lights are color-selectable in a choice of five color temperatures (2700K through 5000K). There is also one hugger-style fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All seven of the ceiling fans are 52 inches, have a reversible motor, and are backed by a five-year limited warranty. Some can be operated via pull chain, remote control, or wall switch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
