The deadline to nominate a lighting professional who is eager to continue her education in the field for a Women in Lighting Education Scholarship<\/a> is July 27. The American Lighting Association (ALA<\/a>) Women in Lighting Education Scholarship provides access to high-quality education and certification opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scholarship consideration is based on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 ALA membership<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Professional need<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Involvement in the lighting industry<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Availability of funds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 A short-answer essay<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each scholarship opportunity has a four-week application window, followed by a 2-3 week review period during which the committee evaluates submissions. Scholarships are awarded 6-8 weeks prior to the event to give recipients time to prepare. Application dates and event timelines are listed on the application form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications are being accepted for round 1 through July 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
