Ivystone<\/a> CEO Doug Cofiell was honored with Gift for Life<\/a>\u2019s 2025 Industry Achievement Award during the 74th<\/sup> Annual Retailer Excellence Awards in Dallas.\u00a0 To date, some $38,355 has been donated to World Central Kitchen<\/a>‘s crisis-related hunger relief efforts in Cofiell\u2019s honor with fundraising continuing through the summer gift and home markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his acceptance, Cofiell said, \u201cIt\u2019s weird to get an individual award when it\u2019s not about the individual, it\u2019s about the people around you.\u201d  He also commented on current economic stressors, saying, \u201cResilience is the word you think of when you think of the independent gift industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In honor of Cofiell, gift and home industry colleagues already have donated $38,000+ to World Central Kitchen fundraising which will serve hot, healthy meals to in-need communities around the world.\u00a0 The 130+ donors include a wide range of manufacturers, sales agencies retailers, media, market centers and industry suppliers. Donations will be accepted through the summer gift and home markets in Atlanta, Las Vegas and New York City.\u00a0 To donate, click here<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis year feels especially meaningful to me personally,\u201d said Gift for Life Chair Emalee Hoffman. \u201cAfter spending the past few years working within one of the companies Doug leads, I can say with absolute certainty: he embodies the kind of leadership this award was created to honor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
