California-based Avenue Lighting<\/a> has been evolving and experimenting with new materials and shapes over the past several years, but now it is ready to showcase those efforts to lighting showrooms attending Lightovation next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Known for decorative residential lighting on a grand scale, Avenue Lighting has been quietly introducing innovative technology to its core customers at each passing edition of Lightovation as well as introducing the brand to the architectural community at its first-ever LEDucation booth in March and to hospitality specifiers at HDExpo for the first time in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each \u201cfirst\u201d has been an overwhelming success in response from attendees, according to company president Chris Titizian.        <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Titizian has been developing and perfecting these new category departures for a good 18 months or more. At the January edition of Lightovation, Titizian introduced the Monaco Collection of pendants featuring flexible LED filament inside that \u201cmoved\u201d courtesy of magnets.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two months later, the idea of magnets was fully realized with the introduction of the Magnetix by Avenue Lighting<\/a> brand during LEDucation in New York City. This curved, low-voltage magnetic track system in a slim silhouette can be surface-mounted, recessed, or suspended. In addition to standard configurations, Magnetix can also be customized to fit the dimensions of any application \u2014 from retail, museum, hospitality and office spaces to residential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Magnetix line is comprised of an assortment of spot lights and pendant lights that can be attached magnetically anywhere along the track. Every Magnetix component is finished in a commercial-grade powdercoat that is unaffected by heat, moisture, and everyday wear. The line was a hit at the recent HDExpo in Las Vegas last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For June Lightovation, Titizian will be unveiling a brand new patent-pending suspended fixture in a \u201cbelt\u201d design with several fixture styles that can easily be moved along the belt for a customized fit and appearance. For the Fremont collection, two belt colors are offered as standard, but custom is an option. Customers can also purchase the lighting as a \u201ckit\u201d that includes canopy, belt and hook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
